There are so many different speeds associated with various flash or thumb drives and I needed something to transfer large video files between my Mac and PC. This is one of the fastest, rated at 10 MB/sec write speed. My Mac uses 10.6.8 (snow leopard) and my PC uses OS7. I would recommend this item.

I copied the Documents folder, 14.0GB of data (TXT, DOC, XLS and PDF) and that took 50 minutes to complete. I also copied the Pictures folder, 14.7GB of pictures and that took just under one hour. My PC runs on Windows Visa. I then moved the data/pictures onto a new Toshiba, Win-7 laptop and copied it back onto the flash drive. This tine it went so fast, I failed to record the time. It was much less that on the Windows Vista.

Compre esta memoria con la esperanza de que me duraría mucho tiempo, solo la use por TRES DÍAS, al tercer día se DAÑO, en Windows Xp - Vista - 7 se instala bien pero no sale en mi pc, En el administrador de dispositivos esta pero dice que no tiene volumen, e intentado formatearla en todos los programas que halle en Internet y no me deja da un error. En Linux - Ubunto , dice "Can't read Superblock" sale en los Discos Duros pero no me deja Formatear... Mi recomendación es NO COMPRARLA.
