8GB Pivot Plus Flash Drive USB 2.0

I used the 4gb version for more than a year without a problem. I bought this 8gb version for the additional capacity and the hardware-based encryption. The keyring thing snapped off in the first week. I contacted Imation assuming it was a one-of-a-kind manufacturing defect in the plastic. They said there was no defect and declined to replace it. Too bad ... the capacity and encryption worked well for me.

The previous reviewer made it seem like the 4gb version was stronger. No way! My keyring portion broke off the same day I received it. It broke off at midway. So I broke off the other half to make it look even. It came off so easily. I can't believe I paid so much for a flimsy product. But I did like the hardware encryption. Well, now I have to carry it in my pocket and not on my keychain. I suggest looking into Kanguru.
