ADATA Flash Drive,
January 31, 2011 Bronco245 - See all my reviews
This review is from: A-DATA C003 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive AC00316GRBL (Blue) (Personal Computers)
I bought this drive and tested it when it arrived then put it aside until I needed it. About 5 weeks later I started using it and it failed after about 2 minutes. Since I had it more than 30 days I contacted ADATA via email and they sent me software to try to revive it and an electronic RMA request form. I tried the software but it didn't revive the drive so I completed the RMA form and emailed it back to ADATA. When I didn't receive a reply I emailed the form again. Still no reply so I emailed it yet again. Then I called and spoke to a person who said he was the support manager and he could not find any record of any of my emails. He then said he would have someone call me back within 2 hours. No one called back so I called again and left messages but still no return calls. If you want a reliable drive with a guarantee that is honored by the company I suggest you look elsewhere. ADATA is certainly not interested in honoring my warrantee.

Windows 7 did not recognize this as a drive. In other words, it is not working properly.
How does this company expect to stay in business selling defective products like this?

This review is from: ADATA Classic Series C003 4GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive AC003-4G-RBL (Personal Computers)
I bought 3 of these and they worked fine at first but now I am having issues with the USB standard-A-Plug that is inserted to the USB port, it keeps retracting back inside the body of the flash drive when ever I try to plug this in. I would not recommend this to anyone, in the end I wasted $20 (After shipping) and now I'm buying something else for a higher price and hopefully better quality.
