It feels super light. The black body is actually just light/cheap plastic. Although the chrome finish on the side looks quite nice. It has a bright blue light that flashes when being used, I like it. The locking/sliding mechanism seems pretty stable, but when you shake it the locking mechanism rattles because of something loose. Overall its a pretty functional and stylish USB flash drive, but could use some harder/denser plastic for the body. By Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: A-DATA C702 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 16GC702BK (Black) (Personal Computers) This drive was one of the cheapest I can find on line about 5 months ago. It has worked every time I needed it. The only thing I noticed is the construction quality seems a little cheap. But given that, it has not broke down on me yet. I will update you if anything bad happens to it but so far it is working just fine. By Edward V (NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: A-DATA C702 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive 16GC702BK (Black) (Personal Computers) Pros: Retractable.Slim.Light.
Cons: Poor construction quality (rattling parts). EXTREMELY SLOW- took 5 hours to transfer the 16 MB folder with mixed files from my PC to this flash drive. Some files wouldn't transfer. Some ended up corrupted. I had to reformat the drive 4 times in just 2 days. Very mediocre tech support. Fortunately I could return it to amazon.com for a full refund. I'll never buy A-Data again. |
