A-DATA Theme Series 4 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (AT8094GCWH)

I bought this for a friend of mine who's a sophomore in college. She loves it and it's a great price for an item this cute; makes storing any docs and pics that much more enjoyable.

There is a socket at the top of the panda's head where you can store the entirety of the physical USB drive in. It also comes with a lanyard/rope, which makes it very difficult to lose if used properly.

However, the balance can be a little wonky when you're trying to get the item to stand.

I'm so sad, the item before it became out of stock was $11.99 and after restocking it's $20.02 ): which is enough to purchase the 8GB Flash Drives. I think considering the flimsy balance, multiple issues with the chain ring and strap, and non-rubber feel, it should be priced accordingly again. However I still rate it a 4 star item because of the adorably cute panda design and built-in USB storage space.

The first thing I noticed when I got my flash drive was the size of the panda. He has a huge head, and the USB fits entirely in it's head alone. The head is so thick, you could fit about 3 of these USBs stacked into his head. what I'm trying to say is this Panda was a lot bigger than I thought (and a lot bigger than I think they needed to make it). whenever I show my friends the Panda, they say, "I thought the panda was squishy". it's made out of a very hard plastic, nothing close to soft (if that's good or bad). a better design choice for me would have been a smaller panda and a more soft plastic or even rubber.

I have noticed a problem with the ball chain, noted in other reviews. mine keeps coming out of the metal circle it's attached to. other than that, it's a decent product.

also, the cap it comes with has to be removed to stick the USB inside the panda, so either you go with no cap or no panda, sort of making even including a cap with it pointless...Read more
