The rubbery material seals well and feels very secure when 'closed', yet slides on and off without difficulty. It doesn't pretend to be a tiny USB stick for those who're worried about a pocket bulge, but it stands nicely on a desk and makes for a great gift for any penguin-loving friends you may have. In an environment where USB ports are crammed together (such as at the back of most motherboards) this is a less than ideal device, but for a port or hub with room around it (or if you don't need neighbouring ports) it's just fine.
