This secure flash drive is the Apple Hardware Data Encryption USB Flash. I have an Apple iMac running Snow Leopard and began scanning documents in order to keep them in searchable order and to save space. I need a secure USB drive in order to copy the pdf files of the documents I scan so that I can keep the drive at another location in the event I lose my computer at home. But, my need for security, to keep prying eyes away from my sensitive financial and other information in the event I lose the USB flash drive. My tax returns and other confidential data on the secure drive are not for prying eyes.
