Amazon.com Product Review

The Flash Voyager USB 3.0 series gives you the power of USB 3.0 speed, the flexibility of full USB 2.0 compatibility, and the rugged durability that the Voyager series is famous for.
USB 3.0 Speed. USB 2.0 Compatibility. Flash Voyager® Durability.
Flash Voyager 3.0
The ingenious all-rubber design fits easily in the hand. A protective cap covers the USB connector, and a blue activity LED lets you know that it's working.

USB 3.0 Speed

As fast as USB flash drives are, copying files always seems to take a little longer than you'd like. The advent of the USB 3.0 interface puts an end to that. You can move files back and forth in a fraction of the time it takes with standard USB 2.0 flash drives, and the USB 3.0 interface is fast enough to allow you to view videos directly from your Flash Voyager, instead of the traditional extra step of copying them to a hard drive.
USB 2.0 Compatibility

Of course, Flash Voyager USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0. Even if you haven't yet upgraded your PC to USB 3.0, it's still a great choice for convenient, reliable portable file management, and the additional performance will be ready when your PC is.
Durable and Shock-Resistant

The finger-friendly ergonomics of the Flash Voyager USB 3.0 will make it the USB flash drive that you'll want to take with you everywhere. Reliability is essential.

Corsair's proprietary all-rubber housing is extremely durable, for worry-free transport of your valuable data. And because accidents happen, Flash Voyager USB 3.0 is water-resistant.

Unlike traditional storage media, flash drives are solid-state, so they can easily handle the everyday — and not so everyday — drops and bumps that come with the territory.
Convenient and Compatible

It works with Microsoft® Windows®, Mac OS X® and even Linux without drivers, and there's no software to install — just plug it in, and go. If your computer has a USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 connector, you can use Flash Voyager USB 3.0.

One of the best things about this drive is the fact that it's USB 3.0 which is still difficult to find, at least at a reasonable price; which brings me to my next point and that is the price. This is probably the best priced USB 3.0 32GB drive on the market right now. Eventually they will all come down in price more as USB 3.0 drives become more widely available. Until then, this is probably the best you're going to find for the money. The rubberized coating is thick and so far, very durable. You can drop this drive (which I've already done a couple times when I dropped my keys) and it's fine; just bounces off the ground and continues working as normal. Also, the end of the drive that you plug into the computer has a rubberized cap which I believe makes it waterproof or at least water resistant.

Very disappointed with this product as the only reason I bought it was to get USB 3.0 performance. From the get-go its performance was the same as two old USB 2.0 flash drives. So I returned it and bought the more expensive Patriot 32gb Supersonic USB 3.0 which performs extremely well. Sometimes you do get what you pay for.

Experience with this Corsair product combined with 16gb RAM memory for my Win 7 64-bit computer I purchased about 2 weeks ago (returned today due to erratic performance issues that began about a week after installation) leads me to the position that I will not knowingly purchase another Corsair product.

Bought to work off of my new (Windows 7) msi laptop equipped with both usb 2.0 and usb 3.0. Computer wouldn't recognize it for at least 5 attempts in each usb port. Then once it did, it said the flash drive needed to be formatted but then would not let me format. After several reboots of the computer system through all this, it eventually seemed to be found and looked fine. But when I tried to copy to it, it simply "calculated space" until I pulled it out 20 minutes later. (I have a top level gaming laptop with an i7 processor). Rebooted everything for one last try and again it wasn't found with any of the usb ports. Waste of 2 hours.
On the Corsair forum, these same problems are listed all over the place. I should have been more diligent in my research - Buy it if you want but your likely going to end up returning it!
