This review is from: Corsair Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 32GB Flash Drive (CMFVYGT3-2GB) (Personal Computers)
I got this device on Friday and specs are great but what it's really important at the end of the day is how fast is the device doing my job.
So I decided to perform the following tests:
I created a 1GB folder composed of 500 MB of pictures and 500 MB of audio files. With the audio files I included like 3 video files. These 3 type of files are the ones I work with the most.
My PC came with a USB 2.0 port and I bought an additional USB 3.0 NEC board.
So I took the file and copied it from my desktop (C: drive) into 3 different destinations:
A used a run of the mill USB 2.0 device, the 32GB USB 3.0 Corsair here reviewed, and a ADATA 32GB USB 3.0 device and these are my results:
Copying to the Corsair on the USB 2.0 port 2:44 minutes
Copying to the Corsair on the USB 3.0 port 2:10 minutes
Copying to a external drive via ethernet 2:52 minutes
Copying to the ADATA on the USB 2.0 port 3:00 minutes...Read more

I have the 32 GB Corsair Flash Voyager thumb drive (blue and black) and like it a a lot. But wanted another thumb drive to have a second back up of my music, documents, and photos.
So I got this Corsair Flash Voyager 64 gb thumb drive.
Amazon lists The Product Dimensions: 7.5 x 5.4 x 1.2 inches. THIS IS WRONG.
It is actually 4" long, 1" wide, and 1/2" thick. I just finished measuring it myself.
It is 1" longer & 0.25" wider than the 32 gb Corsair flash voyager (blue& black)
I have a USB 2.0 on my computer. Though it is for USB 3.0, this worked just fine in my computer. AND IT WAS SUPER FAST.
Just like the 32 gb Corsair Flash Voyager, it is quick, easy and convenient to back things up on this thumb drive. It is just "plug and play".
I read in the documentation, that they give the user a 5 year warranty, which is great.
I liked my old 32 gb Corsair flash voyager and now love my new 64 gb...Read more

I had one of these for about 2 years when it suddenly died. Fortunately I had backed up the day before and lost nothing. I looked up the manufacturer's warranty and discovered it hadn't expired. After filling out a brief form at the Corsair website I was sent an RMA label via e-mail, and a week later I had the latest version in hand, not, as I anticipated, a reconditioned one. Companies that stand behind their products are a rarity these days, and I wanted to call attention to Corsair's excellent service policy.
