The review for this product claiming about a slow bootup speed is just silly. Of course bootup will be slow if you are loading an entire OS from a USB drive.
I'm a professional DJ and use a pair of these to take my music to gigs. This is by far the fastest flash drive I've ever used. I ran a stopwatch test for sending a bunch of music to this flash drive and the old flash drive I was using and saw the entire transfer completed twice as fast.
The rubber coating is also great for durability. I've dropped these things down the stairs with no issue and also bent one backwards while it was plugged into my computer, still runs like a champ! If you are looking for a strong, durable, and fast flash drive, just buy this thing already.

I installed a Linux distro on this flash drive as I have on a few other brands. This flash drive is much faster than any flash drive I've ever used. Its great.

Good but not to boot an OS,

This key is supposed to be one of the fastest. The reading speed is about 30MB/s but only 10MB/s in writing....
And to boot an operating system (Snow Leopard), it takes too long....about 5mn in a current machine.
I obtained really best results with a Sandisk Cruzer 8GB for that (only 30s with the same machine !)
A little bit disappointed but once loaded, the OS is fast enougt to be used for what I bought this key.
