This review is from: Corsair Flash Voyager Port CMFUSBPORT (Personal Computers) Obviously the port is not what you are paying for (that would have cost $10 max!). The port itself looks nice and goes well with the Flash Voyager memory sticks. It is made of a nicely textured rubber that holds well to a computer desk even though it is pretty light weight. My problem with this product is that it took me 3 times to install the software that came with the port before it would work correctly. Once it did work, the settings were really tricky too.
The first time it worked, but then when it asked if I wanted to update the software, I let it. DO NOT UPDATE this software when it gives you the option because it then converts it to a 15 day trial version of the software (so you'll have to re-install it)!!! I've notifed their customer service about it, and they thanked me for the input as they "work out bugs" etc. Their customer service was responsive via email, but there might have been a little bit of a language barrier because it took me asking the...Read more |
