This drive is VERY Slow. Writing takes 10 minutes to write a 600MB file and the read speed is not much better. I have several flash drives-4gb 8gb and 2 16gb. These are all roughly this same read write speed. Way faster than this one, so I dont think the capacity of 32gb is the reason for the poor performance. Also its very wide making it impossible to use where the usb ports are close together. I would not recommend this one

At $60, this is a very good deal if you need portable storage or a dedicated backup drive. (No, you won't fit your entire system onto it... but then, you don't need to. Unless you're a graphic designer or in a similar field, 32 GB will be more than enough storage for essential files.) That's what made me purchase it, and I don't regret it. This will more than hold my backups with room for growth, and all at a price that's lower than using a handful of smaller-capacity flash drives.

The unit is nice enough looking, but has a few odd quirks. Most importantly, it's VERY wide, twice as wide as most other flash drives. If you're plugging it into a tightly packed back panel, you may block another USB port. I imagine that most people will plug it into their front interface ports, which are often more generously spaced. As a graphic designer, I needed a high capacity flash drive that could hold a number of large files. This one does the trick - it's affordable, for one, and it's also professional looking - simple black design with chrome trim. So while I personally prefer the look of "cooler" flash drives, like Emtec's silly Kooky or that super thin S300 drive, this black one is a perfect fit for my business.
