Comment: I bought this only for use in my 2010 VW GTI stock, non-navigation car stereo. Stereo works fine with my sandisk cruzer, but not with my new HP drive :(

Summary: DO NOT BUY. DO NOT FLUSH YOUR MONEY DOWN THE TOILET ON THIS FLASH DRIVE. 2010-08-11
Comment: Bought (2) of these from Staples, they were having a "sale" of $20. Opened one, it was DOA. Being that i still desperately needed a flash drive that night, I opened the other (this time with a razor blade so that i wouldn't destroy the packaging) and it was also DOA. Tried both drives on 3 different computers (windows and mac). Went back to staples, and it wouldn't even work on their computers. They let me have a full refund. But please don't waste your time, patience, money, and shipping on this item. HP can't make a reliable flash drive to save their lives and this has been well documented on both consumer and professional review sites.
in short, AVOID at all costs.

Summary: Doesn't work with updated XP SP3 2010-08-08
Comment: This USB drive works great with my HP 2530p laptop, which came with Windows XP SP 3. However, after updating my Dell Dimension 4600 to Windows XP SP3, I have had all sorts of problems with "access denied" and "please insert a disk" error messages. I've tried the various solutions suggested by Microsoft, et alia, but it still works only sporadically.
Curiously enough, an older Sandisk Cruzer has had no problems. I'm going to purchase another Sandisk. It's not worth the grief to keep the HP flash drive.

Summary: Malfunctioning media pool information in Win XP 2010-08-05
Comment: I own this flash drive (HP v125w 16GB), but unfortunately, I could not use it.
The reason is whenever I try to access the drive from my computer, I get a message saying it is not accessible. After verifying, I saw the media was not mounted - and I could not make it work so far (I have 15+ years in PC computing).
