Imation Swivel 16GB USB Flash Drive 27125

I like the drive. I have had a 2GB version for several years now. It's not the fastest drive, but the write protect switch on the side is the main reason for my purchase.

I ordered it from HPP Enterprises

I ordered on 01-15-2012 and received it on 01-20-2012 the Imation Swivel 16GB USB Flash Drive 27125 (see 1st link below) which has a built-in physical lock on the side for write protection. Instead I received the Imation 16GB Swivel Flash Drive and uses software based locking which I don't want and is 2x expensive as any other USB Flash Drive. Another user also experienced the exact problem with the wrong product being shipped (3rd link below). I am now waiting for a pre-paid shipping label to return this as I am not going to pay for shipping. I will probably just get a Kanguru drive (4th link) instead.

I bought an Imation 2GB and was very happy with the size etc, so when I needed a bigger thumb drive I bought the 16 GB. I was very happy with it for a little over a year and then it just died. No more blinking light, and it doesn't show on my computer anymore. So the data that was on it was lost.
