Summary: Great little flash drive to store your files! 2010-02-06
Comment: I initially purchased this flash drive because of the excellent user reviews and I was not disappointed! I like the swivel cap idea so I'm not worried about losing a cap. I purchased this to primarily hold all of my music which is does just great an with plenty of room to add more! It's easy to use without all the extra software like some other flash drives. The download speed is more then fast enough for me! If, or I should probably say when I need more storage, I'll be back to purchase another. :)

Summary: Worked Great but 8 gigs is way too small for long term storage. 2010-02-01
Comment: Like I said above...worked great. Loved the flip cover. Appears durable and no probs at all...however, after taking years of photos and vids of the little one, inpractable for long term storage. At present storage sizes currently available, need at least a 20 gig.

Summary: Nice compromise between a capped drive and a retractable one 2010-01-20
Comment: This was a couple of bucks cheaper in December, but it's still a decent investment. The all-plastic ones with the cap eventually lose their head, and the retractable drives tend to be pricey. Unfortunately, the miniaturization of absolutely everything, including these drives, is leading to the loss, displacement or misplacement of practically everything I own, from MP3 players to cell phones to these drives. The manufacturers would have you believe it's for the better--for them, perhaps. I'd welcome a bit more heft and size.
The pluses of this drive include a metal enclosure, a capless design, a reassuring light that illuminates upon a successful connection, and easy entry into tight spaces. After using various services to synchronize my various computers (iDisk), I'm finding it just as convenient and far saner to move things between computers through use of a flash drive. Otherwise, it's far too easy to coordinate the wrong machine the wrong direction, leading to the machine with the indispensable records becoming the recipient of the dispensable material on the secondary or tertiary machine.
Just a few years ago regarded as cutting edge devices, flash drives have become the old-fashioned, safe and secure way of moving stuff between computers. As long as the price doesn't become ridiculous, I plan to continue using them, replacing them as often as necessary.
