Summary: Love the Firefly Series 2009-12-16
Comment: This is my second Firefly drive, and I love them for their small size. I also like that the key loop is on the cap - I tie that part into a loop inside my laptop case and the drive just pops in and out, leaving it right at my fingertips. Fast performance, good capacity.

Comment: I had a 2gb flashdrive by Lexar and needed larger storage capacity. After lots of shopping I came back to Lexar. It has been very reliable, fits on my keyring, and is small,sturdy and easy to remove.

Summary: Driver doesn't work for Win98 2009-08-12
Comment: I own several 2 Gb, 4Gb, and an 8 Gb Firefly.
I use them for transferring data between two WinXp machines and a Win98 print server.
The all in one driver for Win 98 works fine for these.
The 16 Gb, however, is not recognized.
The lexar driver download page states....
"Windows 98 Driver for all Lexar JumpDrives"
This, however, is incorrect.
The customer server rep at Lexar stated...
"Our latest JumpDrives will not work with windows 98 computer."
NOW THEY TELL ME !

Comment: I have a collection of thumb drives. From 256MB to 32GB of all makes
The Firefly is well built and the size makes it very convenient. Never had a failure with a Firefly drive. Write Speed is good at 7.4 MB/sec (5 GB in 11 minutes) but not as fast as the newer HP (PNY) drives at 9.8MB/sec.
Buy one (or two!) you won't regret it.
