Summary: Works great even after a washing@ 2008-11-09
Comment: I bought this thumb drive because I didn't want any of the extra programs that now come on SanDisk drives. I was hesitant to try something different and cheaper, but it works great even after putting it through the "whitest whites" cycle on my washer and through the dryer! When I found it in the dryer, I thought that was the end of it and just tossed it on my desk. The next morning I decided to try it before throwing it away...wow, I could'nt believe it...it worked just fine and I didn't even loose any of the picures on it!

Summary: Not So Satisfied 2008-11-05
Comment: All in all, this product is not quite the best USB Flash Drive I've owned. The Attache performs well enough for the price, but does indeed run a little slow on my older HP Pavillion ze2000. I had a I/O errors while trying to drag and drop files in mass (rather than one at a time). This is a little aggravating since as a web designer, I need to transfer multiple images between home and work.
If you are a low tech user looking for something to store your photos for a family trip, this cheap flash drive will perform well enough out of the box to satisfy your needs. However, for you higher end tech junkies, put out for a little more expensive drive. PNY doesn't offer any drivers (unless you're running a system older than Windows 2000).
It's worth stating that my laptop might be the source of the problems, but I doubt that since I have another flash drive working just fine. I'll experiment on some of my other computers to see what results I can get.
During the duration of typing this review AND researching a few facts on the drive, I've been waiting to transfer a SINGLE 9KB image from the drives base folder to a new folder I created in order to organize things. I've got 4 more images to transfer, and if each of these takes just as long then I may just be seeing where to return this drive...
When trying to transfer files, I note that the Windows Explorer freezes between 5-6 seconds. Sometimes you will get an I/O error, sometimes you won't. Take your risks with this device.

Summary: Convienent and Good Priced 2008-06-04
Comment: I purchased this a couple of months ago and I love it. It is conveinent to have a flash drive attached to my keys so its with me at all times, you never know when you will need it! Also the 2GB is more than enough for most of what I do, I have an entire DVD on here with much more space left. I also still have the cap attached to it which is suprising. I have not had any issues with compatability or transfer rate.
I'd buy it again!

Summary: Not quite what the picture claims - but not bad 2008-04-12
Comment: Looking at the photo in the listing and the item that just came in the mail, I notice a few differences. I did indeed receive a PNY Optima Pro Attache 2GB flash drive, but the design is different than shown in the picture. For one thing, it looks like it's almost a third longer than the product shown. The design of the key ring hole is different. And so is the cap covering the head of the drive. This may just be an issue with the reseller from whom I purchased it.
Those differences aside, it seems to work just fine. The only thing I've noticed is that it's a little hard to pull out of the USB port because the protective black slip isn't attached to the main body. So I keep pulling the protective slip off instead of pulling the flash drive out. No biggie... I just slip it back on. It's a little too large to put onto a key ring that will end up in your pocket, but would work fine if you carry your keys in a bag or purse.

Summary: Nice and affordable 2008-01-12
Comment: I bought this for like $15 - and it was worth it, and not only does it work well as a Booster for my vista. It doesnt have any transfer issues like other flash cards.
