I did not purchase the PNY 32GB Mini Attache via Amazon -- I got it a BJ's last week. I was waiting for a 32GB Kingston Traveler to arrive from Amazon and decided to try out the PNY in the meantime. I use these drives to store backup system images of my laptop. Each image is around 10GB, and I can fit two of them on a 32GB drive. I also use 32GB memory cards, and other flash drive devices, so I have a good comparison as far as write speeds of large files are concerned. The PNY Mini Attache bested them all by a significant margin -- 13mb/sec for the PNY; 8.5mb/sec for the Amazon Basic 32GB card in the laptop's card reader; and an abysmal 3.75mb/sec for the Kingston Digital Data Traveler 101 Gen 2 (which I just received today and which is going back tomorrow) I had no problem with the sliding cover breaking on the first use, although compared to some other designs it does appear to be somewhat delicate. Flash drive works well but the swiveling case broke on the first use. Fortunately I didn't need it. Other then that it works as needed.
