After sending my pqi flash drive through the washing machine the first time, I thought about writing a review to rave about it because it survived and still worked.
After sending it through the washing machine a second time, I decided that this flashdrive is the cockroach of flash drives-- all of my files have survived, they all still work, and this flash drive is awesome.
I am going to work on trying to be more careful with it from now on, but I wanted to say that I've NEVER had a flash drive which has survived the washing machine, especially not two times. Amazing.

When I wrestled this drive out of its packaging and popped it into my iMac to make sure it wasn't DOA (looks fine), I found that it contained a 236 kb file named NIS 2009_090715.exe. It took me a while to discover what it is--a 60-day free trial of Norton Internet Security 2009.
Bloatware--it's not just for PCs anymore!
p.s. Should you want to give NIS a whirl, do yourself a favor and download the current version. As of this writing, that would be NIS 2011.
