I was a bit astonished that this large of a capacity could be offered at that price (the total was around $49 including shipping). I plugged the drive into my Mac, and sure enough, it says not only 64GB, but a total capacity of 67.53 GB. On Windows 7 it shows (by memory) around 61 GB, so not sure of the difference. (By comparison, when I plug in a 1 TB Drive my Mac doesn't show 980GB or whatever, but 1TB). The Drive comes formatted with ExFAT, compatible with Mac and PC with no usual 4GB file size limits and no drive size limits, a spec of the ExFAT format.
I am quite amazed by this product. I just received the product so I'm not sure of the reliability yet. The build quality is ok, the Black plastic enclosure is glossy hard plastic and feels a bit cheap, the Male USB side is bent down slightly, but the drive assembly feels very solid. Haven't had any issues after about 3 weeks..
I have put a few movie files on it and they seem to play fine.
The swivel metal cover is not very secure and seems to fall off easily. If it was thicker metal it would probably stay on better. As the first review said, the usb end is slightly bent.
At this point It seems like a really good deal.
