I had one of these before, it went through the washer and dryer and came out still working, but I still wanted to replace it just in case.

Bought this one here on Amazon and it just quit after 2 months.

Item seems to be hit or miss. Don't trust.

...but it doesn't work on some very old computers. I think this is pretty much the status quo for flash drives.

I had originally given this item only one star because it wouldn't work with my Blu-ray player (see below for the original review). However, following the link [...] kindly provided in the first comment to this review, it was fairly easy to remove the extra partition on the USB stick and make it usable for my Blu-ray player. So, now it works as it should have out of the box. Thus I give it four stars now (would be five stars if the stick didn't come with the useless partitioning and apps that just take up storage in the first place. The apps are rather useless, even if I were to use this stick for data storage on a computer).
