I bought this for my girlfriend who needed a USB drive she can hook onto something. It holds up to her rather rough handling of devices. I know that some people have problems with the U3 technology. I realized it and installed it right away just so it would never be a problem. You can get the uninstaller from the SanDisk's website. Its easy and fast, and for this price, it doesn't get much better. If you have any problem with corrupted data and so forth, you probably aren't ejecting the device from the computer prior to yanking it out. Yes, people still (and should) do that. I considered that maybe it should get 4 stars since I had to uninstall U3, but for the price, 5 minutes to "fix" is worth it.
