Worse than previous generation,

This new Sandisk Cruzer Edge is a disappointment. Slower and less durable than previous models. Instead of usual metal USB plug, the plug is made of thin plastic. I wouldn't be surprised if it eventually cracked or snapped off while plugging it in.
Pros: Small size
Cons: Slow read and write speeds. Cheap plastic USB plug.

I bought two of these on-line from Staples. The first one didn't work right. After looking at a file in the "secure" area I had to exit the program and completely remove the flash drive from the USB port before I could click to another file. So I took it to my friendly, neighborhood Staples store to see if they could help me to just go from one file to another without completely removing the flash drive from my computer first. They couldn't do it either; said it was defective. So I ordered another one (it's not carried in the store), and took it to the store unopened, to see if they could school me in it's use. The same problem was encountered. They asked me how much it was and I said I got it on sale for $9.99. They said maybe that's because it doesn't work. Would you like your money back? I did opt to get my money back and not bother trying a third one.

I ordered this product for myself (another usb drive I really didn't need). But upon opening the package I was very happy to see just how small it actually is. I actually made a necklace out of it due to it's light weight and small size. I can easily see myself recommending this very product to friends and fammily.
