Bought it and immediately loaded onto my PC, following the installation protocol as instructed. Works properly on original PC it was first set up on and requires the use of a password to access loaded data (NOTE: 1GB data over an hour to load).

The problem is, if you take it to another PC, laptop or Andoid, it will allow you to access the data with no restriction....password or otherwise. I expected better and it is very, VERY SLOW processing...in addition to being very tempermental....had it lock up and freeze numerous times....it's not worth the time or effort.

I would not recommend it to anyone! If the rating system had a negative star, I would give it a NEGATIVE 3.

I've arranged to return it for credit and of course, because it's not AMAZON that I bought it from, I have to pay for the return. That's a mistake I will never make again!!!

I wanted to get a more portable drive with more GB so when best buy listed this as their deal of the day I jumped on it.

I gotta say after owning a Kingston DataTraveler 108 8 GB Flash Drive DT108/8GBZ, I was a little disappointed with this one.

The casing is completely made out of plastic as opposed to the Kingston Data traveler which has an aluminum cover.

I own a regular...Read more
