Comment: I recently purchased a Sony Blu-ray player which required a usb flash drive for storage purposes (downloads). The problem is the usb slot in the back is too small for a regular sized usb flash drive...probably designed like that on purpose to increase their own flash drive sales. Well, it worked, they got a sale.
The flash drive works fine...will likely never leave the back of the blu-ray player.

Comment: I wanted this "thumb" drive to work, but it is so slow as to be unuseable (anout USB 1.1 speed).

Comment: This flash drive is a bit pricey, but it works great in my Sony BD-350 blu-ray to enhance java content from blu-ray disks. Most flash drives won't fit in the BD-350, but this one fits like a glove.

Comment: I am not very tech savvy, so not sure with all these specs about how fast it transfer files and stuff........the only reason that i bought this product is that it's small enough to attach it to your keychains without worrying about the usb fallng out of the little pouch.....so if you are looking for a usb that's very small and easy to carry around everyday, then i highly recommend this product. Bought it to re-flash my Sony DVR. The DVR is picky about USB drives. It worked fine. Now I use it as a genereal purpose flash drive. I don't use the compression. I suspect that would slow it down.
