I do a lot of travelling of various sorts and thought that this device's design looked like it would be good for taking along in backpacks, etc. The carabiner-style clip and protective sliding cover over the USB connector look the business.

Unfortunately, when I received the device I realized that the sliding cover does not lock in place at all, it simply slides easily to cover or uncover the USB connector. I thought that the cover would lock in place to protect the connector, but such is not the case. Because the cover slides so easily, I don't really see how it provides any significant protection to the USB connector, despite its "tuff" look and name.

Oh well. I've also got the Corsair survivor, which looks like a much better design.

Excellent data transfer and storage however the sliding unit does not lock so the docking part of the drive is continually exposed. Not good.
Further, I purchased this item because the package said it was "tough" and easily transportable (less chance to lose). Unfortunately, the casing is made from plastic and the 'caribiner' clip easily broke off.
Now I cannot clip the drive to anything! Very annoying!
