Comment: Have a few of these. They're so inexpensive, but I wouldn't call them "cheap". They're faster than any of the other USB flash drives I've bought, including a couple of Sony and a few SanDisk models.
8-gig is amazing in this size/format. It's less than 1/2 the size of the keys on my keyring, and weighs nothing. I have always carried my drive on my keyring, and have never had a problem, even using next to Wiegand readers. But, I'm still leery about this drive having no physical protection around the contact. Solution: I keep this on a very small ring with just one other key, and I carry it in my coin pocket. (Don't know what you call that little 5th pocket on your jeans, but use it for coins, key, or wedding ring when I'm doing maintenance.)
Small size is a huge bonus when you've got multiple things plugged in. Older flash drives would block adjacent slots. Now, I can put two drives next to each other and copy files quickly.
Haven't popped it in the Mac yet, I don't expect any issues.
I do wish the color wasn't a code for storage size. I don't want green or purple. Black is just fine with me. But, you don't have that choice.
The only other down-side (albeit minor)...this thing gets hot. There's no empty plastic to insulate you from the heat. When you take it out after heavy use, it's a bit hot. Won't burn you, but don't hold it in your fingertips or put it straight into your pocket. Wait a few seconds for it to cool down.
Oh...it will survive a dunking in water. Tried it several times. :)

Summary: Not Reliable 2010-07-12
Comment: I had this drive for 1 month.
At that point it stopped working. the PC would recognize it as a 8 MegaByte (not GigaByte) drive that needed formatting, but was unable to format it.
I never used the security software and for virtually all the time the drive was just plugged into a USB Hub. Today was the first day I took it with me.
Good idea to have a tiny drive with relatively lare capacity, but if the reliability is not there then this product is really not worth having.
Going through the RMA process with Verbatim now, but I'll be very careful about what kind of data I put in these in the future.

Summary: Worked for 6 months, then nothing. 2010-07-11
Comment: Title says it all. Worked great for 6 months then it just quit. Contacting support to hopefully get the issue resolved. Will update after I hear from Verbatim.

Summary: Tiny definitely 2010-07-11
Comment: Reasonably priced. This is one of the smallest USB drives around.
It works well with both Mac and PC.
I spilled water all over it at work, and it works just fine.
It is also a conversation starter.
Just remember to insert it the right way.

Summary: Works great with the case I made for it 2010-07-08
Comment: I bought my 4GB Tuff n' Tiny about two and a half months ago during a trip in South Africa. It's really amazing how small this thing is! That said, it's so small, and regardless of what the packaging says it seems so delicate, I made a little case for the gadget out of notebook paper and scotch tape. So now I can carry it anywhere on my keychain without worrying about it getting scratched, and it's disguised enough that no-one will think to steal my keys to get a flash drive. So far, it's worked just fine for me! But I really do think it should come with some sort of a protective case.
