I am in tears; for the second time, this reader has deleted hundreds of photos of my children. I thought it might be the card (which hadn't malfunctioned before this), but as I read reviews I see this has happened to many others. My disk no longer even says it's formatted. I've lost photos of precious moments with my nine-month-old and three other young children. Please, don't purchase this if you value your photographs.

The first time I used this to view pictures, it paired itself with the computer quickly and pictures were viewed. The second time I couldn't get it to work, and found out that it erased the pictures from the memory card. The computer was set so that photos would not be removed automatically from the card, yet this reader did that anyway. Would not recommend this to anyone.

do not buy..it does not work...purchased two and neither works for any memory cards we have....stay away...
